The public of the future

The young public is at home at the Maison de la Danse with the Matinées Scolaires daytime events for schoolchildren, with 30,614 children who attended the 2009/2010 Scolaires and Complices performances.  These shows are prepared with the teachers, during workshops and educational meetings. The success of the Complices subscription must not be overlooked, where parents join their children for magical moments.

The company has formed special contacts with several teaching establishments that have dance projects, including community arts centres, teacher training colleges and university departments involved in physical and sports activities.

It has also undertaken with the French National Dance Centre to establish an artistic and cultural training programme for pupils who are taking the dance option at the Lycée Récamier high school. The Maison de la Danse participates in the Enfance, Art et Langage programme, a childhood, art and language project.

School teachers and children are also invited to individually designed video-conferences that are intended to inform and clarify.
