Wayne McGregor Random Dance

F.A.R. (création 2010)

After the undeniable success of Entity at the time of the Biennial 2008, the British dance wonder Wayne McGregor returns with a new show presented here for the first time in France. Having regularly collaborated with a range of artists and researchers outside the conventional sphere of creation in dance, his work is marked by the taste of innovation. In spite of everything, the choreographer’s burning passion for the human body and a fundamental desire to create visceral dances of a great physical beauty, which touch the audience strongly and emotionally, still remains at the centre of this interdisciplinary work.
This lover of work is also the man of the dances of Harry Potter et la coupe de feu, the musical production Kirikou and Genus for the stars of the Opéra de Paris! In his art, the combinations of unusual and complex movements come together with a hellish rhythm. A classical technique, contemporary approach, clear musicality and absolute modernity. A great breathtaking burst of adrenalin.
