Trained in circus arts but uncategorisable, Mathurin Bolze is concerned with space, virtuosity, the body and the question of living together. In this metaphor of human adventure, a strange band of five wanderers, survivors of an unknown storm, invent ceaselessly on a hazardous vessel in the throes of transformation. Bewitchingly lit, and apparently adrift between sky and earth, it attracts, captures, propels and unsteadies the acrobats. A tale about all those who struggle to keep their feet on reality’s uncertain ground.
