The first edition of the [re]connaissance contemporary dance competition which we devised with the Choreographic Development Centre Le Pacifique | CDC in Grenoble, was held in November 2009 at the Hexagone, national stage of Meylan.
Twelve companies competing for two evenings in front of a jury of six important persons, broadcasters and critics. The audience took part, and even better, they voted too. The three prize-winning companies are setting off on tour this season to the fifteen partner organisations of the event. The Lyons stage of the tour will materialise at the Toboggan, where there will be the chance to discover three new talents with very different choreographic styles and artistic intentions.
The humour of the show En somme by Marion Lévy, the delicacy of the Albanian Isida Micani in Hana and the elegance of the contemporary hip hop of Mickaël Le Mer in In Vivo make up a dynamic, charming and highly promising evening performance.
