Philippe Decouflé
Sombrero – this is a title that resembles Philippe Decouflé! A title with many layers, setting the tone: Sombrero, from sombra, shadow in Castillan ; and also “sombre heroâ€? or “Erosâ€?. In brief, all and nothing, in the image of the joyously heterogeneous universe of the choreographer, pushing his taste for the popular show and oddities of all kinds to its limits in this latest creation, here in its spiced presentation. The show is a trip to Mexico astride the American clichés and spaghetti Westerns, a complete show where dance, music and theatre combine. Decouflé also remains an ardent cinema enthusiast, creating famous silhouettes between shadow and light: Zorro, Tarzan, Peter Pan, Cyd Charisse, Nosferatu, Mandrake and more… The irreplaceable accomplice Christophe Salengro vividly portrays a Mexican that even Francis Lopez would never have dreamed of. And the bonus – the extravagant Guillotel of the Albertville Games has designed the costumes. CalentÃsimo !
