Dracula
The most beautiful voices in Quebec are gathered on stage around Bruno Pellieter, the unforgettable Gringoire of Notre Dame, singer of Temps des Cathédrales. This audacious musical drama was loosely inspired by the Bram Stoker novel published in 1897 and the Francis Ford Coppola film. It covers the trail of the mythical, bloodthirsty warrior prince between the Middle Ages and the middle of the 21st century. For love of a woman suspected of having been visited by the devil, Dracula accepts eternal damnation. Condemned to wondering for all eternity, he searches endlessly for the soul of the one for whom he sacrificed all and without whom he cannot find rest. So we find ourselves in 2050, somewhere in the east of a Europe ravaged by war and fighting, and there, under the direction of a giant puppet, we meet all the characters who will be involved in Dracula’s passionate quest. A highly colourful multimedia show and an amazing mine of songs – powerful hits including Nous sommes ce que nous sommes, Mina, Pourquoi and others. A triumph in Quebec presented exclusively at the Maison.
