Here is a company of men giving an overall view of Brazilian contemporary dance . There are eight outstanding dancers who have trained with the greatest companies - Grupo Corpo, Balé da Cidade etc. This is a display of the most original Brazilian choreographers.  Two are well-known to the Lyon public, Carioca dancers Paulo Caldas and Deborah Colker, whose pieces Rota and 4 por 4 (Chinese vases !) remain engraved in memory. The third, Henrique Rodovalho, brilliant director of the Quasar company, sets the modernity of his creation in combination with the warm, entrancing voice of singer Alcione, queen of samba. A powerful technique displaying the richness and diversity of this approach. A revelation, to be seen.
