Béatrice Massin
Choreographer Béatrice Massin is recognized for her outstanding work in the research and repertory of baroque dance and in this new creation she dedicates herself to a passionate exploration. As she crosses different aesthetics and different periods in history, she builds her subject around the body and writing. There is an unexpected choice of music: Lieder from Voyage d’hiver by Franz Schubert. This is a twilight universe portrayed in several compositions where there is a premonition of the emerging of a new artistic period – romanticism. The seven dancers surround baritone Philippe Cantor who blends perfectly and mixes in with the choreographic design without losing either his magnificent quality or his emotion. A mobile platform, like a musical show, where a piano takes its place, offering the singer and dancers the necessary contemplation for this sublime, refined journey.
